Haverfordwest Film Society has existed since the 1950s and is one of Britain's most successful film societies. It belongs to Cinema for All which was previously the British Federation of Film Societies. Its committee is made up of people who like watching films and so the programme chosen for the coming season reflects their enthusiasm and quest for quality.

The venue for our meetings is The Merlin Theatre in Pembrokeshire College, Haverfordwest, which offers a big screen experience in tiered seating. There is a licensed bar (open from 6.45 pm) where members and visitors can gather for a drink and a chat before the film begins. The College has sponsored us for a number of years, and we are delighted that it will do so again for the 23/24 season.
