Haverfordwest Film Society is one of
Britain's most successful film societies, with well over 100 members and a
range of film screenings to satisfy even the keenest of cinema buffs. The
venue for our meetings is The Merlin Theatre in Haverfordwest. Our society
is part of The British Federation of Film Societies' Welsh Group.
The 2008-09
film season will start on September 4th
Our first film is Tell No-one (Ne le dis a
personne), a French film
by Guillaume Canet, highly acclaimed by critics.

MEMBERSHIP AND COST:
Full membership is just £36.00 (£32 concs.) for 24 films from
September 2008 to April 2009. Half-season membership is also available for
the 12 films shown between January and March 2009 at £18, or £16 for
concessions.
Everyone is very welcome and single
evening membership tickets are availableat the box office
on the night (£4, £2 students with an NUS

HOW TO FIND US:
Go to Pembrokeshire College's
Haverfordwest campus (click here for a map and
directions); there is ample free secure parking, and the Merlin Theatre is
well-signposted once you pass through the main entrance. There is
full access for wheelchairs, and an audio loop for hearing aid users.
We are a very friendly group of
film-lovers and one of our attractions is the licensed Merlin Theatre
Bar (open from 6.30 pm), where members and friends can
gather for a coffee and a chat before the films begin.
